Mebelene Sam

I’m Mebelene Sam, a Clinical Psychology graduate with a strong passion for mental health and human development. My academic journey spans across the University of New York in Prague and Christ University, Bangalore, where I’ve pursued dual degrees in Psychology and Human Development, and am currently completing my Master’s in Psychology. I’ve gained hands-on clinical experience through internships and training at institutions such as Abhaya Hospital, Christ Special School, and Medeor Hospital, where I was involved in case history taking, psychological assessments, behavioral interventions, and psychoeducation.

As a Clinical Psychology graduate, I have gained hands-on experience through internships and trainee roles in diverse clinical settings across India and the UAE. I have conducted psychiatric case histories, mental status examinations, and administered psychological assessments such as CARS-II, BKT, WISC-V, WAIS-IV, and various tools for specific learning disabilities. I am skilled in report writing, psychoeducation, behavioral analysis, and intervention planning. Additionally, I have observed neurofeedback and biofeedback procedures and contributed to academic research as a research intern.

I pursued my M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology at Christ (Deemed to be University), Bangalore (2023–2025), where I am gained in-depth academic and practical training in psychological assessment, diagnosis, and intervention. The program has equipped me with strong clinical skills through internships in hospitals and special schools, allowing me to work with diverse populations and use tools like the BKT, CARS-II, and NIMHANS SLD Battery. My training emphasized ethical practice, research, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches, preparing me to become a competent and compassionate clinical psychologist.
