I started working at a private clinic for over two years in the field of physical therapy where I was responsible for rehabilitating patients with neurological impairments such as stroke, Cerebellar ataxia, Non-progressive congenital ataxia, etc. Moreover, I have also worked with patients of  musculoskeletal impairments such as frozen shoulder, elbow or wrist contracture, spinal cord injury recovery, etc. I currently hold a valid UAE residence visa and eligible for DHA and HAAD licensing.I'm also a DHA Unique ID for the eligibility letter is : 83521598 and my  HCPC (UK) registered Physical therapist registration number : PH126639

My careful practice and positive outlook help patients move beyond catastrophic injuries while improving quality of life. I am focused on helping people attain the greatest independence possible despite paraplegia or quadriplegia. I am also excellent with written communication carefully tracking progress and writing medical reports.

My role as a physical therapist is to provide pre-operative and post-operative physical therapy for patients which I have been practicing for the past 2 years. During my rotation at General surgery unit , Orthopaedic rotation ,Neurological rotation, Rehabilitation outpatient department , pulmonology ward and intensive care unit I was able to handle patients effectively by making clinical assessment through the use of observations, comprehensive physical examinations including clinical reasoning skills, preparing SOAP notes, evaluating body systems, Conducting an in-depth history, keeping in mind patient confidentiality and privacy. The patient is asked regarding their history of illness, demographics, general health status, social habits, living environment, employment, growth and development, radiological findings (X-rays, MRI scans or Ultrasound scans). Clinically reasoning and analysing the contributing factors to the patients underlying impairments which further leads to making judgements about the diagnosis and management of patient’s problems. 

Furthermore, my role was to follow hospital protocols for providing post-operative care and to reduce pulmonary complications, such as bronchitis, pneumonia or atelectasis or both. Consultant surgeons, Surgical registrar, Trainee doctors, nurse, nutritionist and I as a physical therapist took part in rounds early morning to access each admitted patient. My role was to educate pre-operative patient on how to deep breath, combining active breathing cycle technique, teaching how to cough effectively and teaching bed mobility exercises. Post-operative patients would be asked to perform deep breathing exercises, an incentive spirometer would be used by individual patient 5 to 6 times every hourly as soon as the patient wakes up from the operation.

I have completed my undergraduate degree in Doctor of Physical Therapy. My skills include having the ability to provide the best physical therapy treatment course for individuals with varying degrees of physical limitation. Pursuing my degree in a healthcare domain has shown me an important facet of life, quality care from

people who care. It is this quality of care that I intend on improving.

In my previous position working as a physical therapist at Shaafi International hospital. I worked as part of a collaborative team comprised of doctor’s nurses and other physical therapists to provide care to people who have suffered paralysis from accidents. My extensive knowledge has allowed me to assist patients with exercises designed to prevent muscular atrophy while gaining strength. As a Physical Therapist I routinely work directly with patients and communicate with doctors and other care providers.
