- Real-world crime scene investigations during internships with the District Police Crime Branch, where he developed and analyzed latent fingerprints, assisted in homicide/suicide investigations, and worked in forensic labs preparing scientific reports.
- Mock crime scene simulations as Team Lead at Nottingham Trent University, gaining hands-on experience in excavation, skeletal identification, and the use of crime scene tools (3D scanning, total stations, GIS mapping).
- Geophysical and archaeological fieldwork with Mercian Archaeological Services CIC, operating instruments like Barrington magnetic gradiometer and Leica total station for historical site mapping.
