Currently I am working at GEMS Winchester School Dubai as Humanities Teacher- Social Studies KS3 and KS 4-IGCSE Sociology and Travel and Tourism BETC Teacher and Middle Leader. Regular to extensive pastoral tasks are carried out daily within the entire year group. Drastically improved school data on student conduct of the entire year group. Working as the Head of Year and being in this role for 5 years, by conducting the regular, widespread pastoral tasks day in and day out, I truly believe I have the full potential to grow further and use my skills and knowledge to lead on and develop other.

Current Responsibilities:
Management of the team:
- To collaborate with and support the Assistant Principal in developing a culture of resilience and personal responsibility for the students' growth.
- Lead and manage a team of form tutors, including monitoring, developing, and evaluating their roles, as well as assisting them in their professional growth.
- Oversee the creation and implementation of academy policies within the Year Group, including as homework, behavior, and attendance.
- To lead and manage Year Team meetings, distributing agendas and minutes as per policy.
- Collaborate with form tutors to offer a pastoral program of themes to the year team.
- Lead on aspects of the Year Team that have been discussed with the Assistant Principal, such as student leadership.
- Any new form tutors should be given an induction and training.
- Develop high standards of study, attitude, uniform, attendance, well-being, punctuality, citizenship, and responsibility early in the year.
- Oversee Parent-Teacher Consultations for Year Group Provision with the goal of maximizing attendance.
- Have also been taking active part in organizing Year Group Awards Assemblies.
Student Holistic Growth –Competency building-7Cs / Academic progress:
Competency building-7Cs:
- Preparing students not only academically, but also, we devised activities related to WSD 7Cs that inculcate lifelong learning skills in order to make the students successful citizens and future leaders.
- Through assemblies and class projects, we aimed to instill the understanding and execution of the 7Cs & encouraged the students to become reflective learners by using the 7Cs rubric, enabling them to set their own smart goals to develop their competencies in educational aspects as well as real life scenarios.
Academic Progress:
- To track and review the academic progress of the Year group and individual students throughout the year, and to assist form tutors and department heads in developing intervention methods.
- Monitor the year team's attendance and punctuality and take efforts to improve both in line with academy goals.
Student Guidance and Support:
- To encourage higher participation in the extracurricular possibilities offered, particularly the intervention sessions, by setting a positive tone of high expectation in the cohort.
- Within the year team, lead year assemblies and design assembly models. Be alert in terms of child protection, safeguarding, and lead by example within the team.
