I’ve led a team of 8 food control inspectors with the engagement of a food safety specialist consultant and other key stakeholders through the successfully initiated, planned, executed and controlled following projects in which the improved processes were handed over to the processes’ owners coupled with a control plan to maintain the success
· Improving the process of food factories inspection, as a result, cost decreased by 23% and cycle time was reduced by 35%.
· Establishing a new food hygiene measurement system, as a result, food control inspectors were able to measure quantifiably the food safety level in food establishments across Sharjah city and monitor, assess, improve and maintain food safety.
· transforming the traditional inspection process of 7900 food establishments into a modern risk-based inspection process as a result cost decreased by 38%, cycle time reduced by 29%, solving the short manpower problem by eliminating the need for 15 more employees.
