Responsibilities;

 

  1. Ensures Fleet, Customer's plans, maximize fleet health through Forecasting, Projection and execution of Long-Term Schedule Maintenance Plans (LTSMP), 5Yearly/3Yearly/Quarterly/Monthly, Weekly forecasts, and CAD/PAD items based on OEM (Boeing) directions.
  2. Arranging Pre-Induction Meetings for all HSCs, TCTOs, Service Bulletins, TCIs and Deferred Defects. Identify, coordinate and manage Fleet and Customer operational risks.
  3. Assigning work packages to maintenance department after a thorough review of the work scopes of major inspections of C-17A, including all supporting maintenance data, associated forms required for scheduled and non scheduled maintenance inputs.
  4. Attending Pre-Input Meetings with Boeing for Heavy Maintenance, reviewing Work Scope, Pre Departure Inputs, Post Heavy Maintenance plans utilizing dead time.
  5. Planning and Scheduling Aircraft Maintenance Checks, Time Change Items (TCIs), documentation, Modifications (TCTOs), including Stand Alone Non-Routine Requirements for modifications, planning requirements, Customer Work Request (CWR), configuration and cannibalization.
  6. Reviewing task cards for spares, materials, tools as well as personnel resources. MR, Route, and Operations updates and amendments in cMRO and AADMIS (UAE Air Force).
  7. Monitoring and planning Aircraft cycles, flight hours, airframe cycles and hours to determine time change items/Life limiting parts (LLP) to ensure limits on parts do not expire.
  8. Ensures a quality communication through Interaction with organization personnel and customer in terms of information, explanation and interpretation.
  9. Update and Extract statistical data reports from cMRO, AADMIS as requested by management.
  10. Managing daily updates and workflow charts, update Crew Board attending daily production/Crew Board meetings with customer and Aircraft Lead, for the work progress/productivity performance, any material shortage, any major finding and make daily progress report of Aircraft Activities with other sections for proper and timely accomplishment of task/check for management.
  11. Production control for complete check from start of Inspection/check and ensuring appropriately completed as per maintenance and company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  12.  Keep track of all cannibalized items from the Aircrafts and all parts sent for repair/modification.
  13.  Coordinate with Aircraft Lead, Operations, Material Planning, SCM, Engineering etc for solving various queries including AOG scenarios. A comprehensive attention to details.
  14.  Liaise with customer and production for better planning and review additional downtime requirements.

Responsibilities;

 

  1. Worked as an Aircraft Technician (Team Lead) on C-17A Globemaster-III (Boeing). Worked in multi-cultural environments and maintaining high standards within established deadlines. My responsibilities & skills cover a wide spectrum of aircraft maintenance, maintenance planning /coordinating flight line duties (BPO, Thru flight, tire changes etc, keeping aircraft ready for missions) and asset management. 
  2. Assembled disassembled and/or modified systems by changing removing replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
  3. As part of Modification Management, ensuring to have the expertise, man power, parts, consumables, and proper down time to complete the TCTO's in accordance with the Boeing directives for the C-17A.

  7. Solving routine problems of limited scope and complexity by following established practices and procedures.
  8. Preparation of work packs according to the upcoming scheduled/unscheduled inspections. Plan, identify resources, parts, materials required for the tasks - ensuring to have all manpower, parts, supplies are available before starting job to ensure needless downtime is not taken. 
  9.  Identify problems with aircraft structural, electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems, repair and components changes according to the repair manuals and job guides provided by Boeing for the C-17A Military Transport.
  10.  Carried out disassembly, assembly, modifications, repairs, refurbishment and detailed inspection of engines, modules, APU as per Boeing Manuals. 120 Days/600 FHs Hard Point inspections.
  11. Install or modify Pratt & Whitney PW3900/F117-PW-100 Engines, mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel and pneumatic systems.
  12. Removal and replacement of line replaceable units (LRUs), components and maintain proper record of all inspections, repair documents, testing of every engine/component worked on.
  13. Planning, monitoring and carrying out 180 Days/ Home Station Check (HSC) Inspections and Flight Line Inspections in accordance with Boeing Technical Manuals/Work Cards for the C-17A Military Transport.
  14.  Interpret technical publications, aircraft manuals and diagrams.
  15. To interpret / Identify the Aircraft minimum equipment list GO / No GO Items - MEL utilization
  16.  Ensuring and maintaining necessary tools, equipment required to perform the required work.

Job Title:      Associate Engineer/Supervisor in Engine Shop & Test Cell (T-56-A-15) Engine    

Organization: Pakistan Air Force Base Chaklala.

Responsibilities;

  1. Worked as a Technician/Supervisor/Operator in C-130 Engine Shop, Engine Test Cell and overhaul shop. Responsible for the supervision of Line Maintenance Mechanics and providing overall technical support services.
  2. Carried out preliminary inspection of all newly overhauled T56-A-15 engines received from Kamra Overhauling factory.
  3. Performed engine teardown and build-up, to include QES removal and installation, preparation of engine for Test Cell for test.
  4. Performed Engine removal and installation on Test Cell as per technical procedures.
  5. Inspection and all adjustment of Propeller and Propeller Assy before installation on engine for engine functional check at test cell. 
  6. Carried out operational checks/ground running and trouble shooting of newly overhauled, malfunctioned and under investigation engines, Prop Assy on the Test Cell.
  7. Removed and replaced GTC/APU and T-56 engines on the C-130 Aircraft and performed required repairs and functional tests. Carried out Phase inspections of APU & GTC operations,                
  8. Remained responsible for conducting training, to include OJT and maintenance of training records for the engine shop.
