I believe my have the skills and attitude needed that would best suit this role.

I have 3 years experience as a Homeroom Teacher. I have experience teaching grades 3-6. Additionally, I have taught children who are hard of hearing for a years with weekly lessons.

I have experience in multi-cutural workplaces and with multicultural students/staff. I work well with other colleagues and find it easy to get along with them.

I aim to create and encourage a bully-free, safe and caring environment for students.

I have experience using 21st century digital tools and well as traditional (physical) tools to increase the effectiveness of my lesson as well as to make it more interactive and fun for students. This is mindful of the learners that each have different learning styles.

I am enthusiastic about teaching and enjoy helping my students read. I have experience teaching grades 3-6 within an American and South African Curriculum (similar to British Curriculum).

I am currently creating Cross Curriculur projects that we are creating in STEAM class and incorporating it in Art (materials), Maths (graphs) and English (presentations) to present to parents at our upcoming Science Fair. I am involved in after school Art and STEAM extra curricular activities.

I have good communication skills and make sure my parents are always up to date. I provide weekly newsletters to parents that go out the Friday before the next week. I also provide weekly homework packs that are sent home and also uploaded onto Google classroom. I send both of these via our group telegram chat and parents can also contact me using telegram. I always go above and beyond for my parents and students to help them achieve their bests.
