After moving to the USA from Singapore, I had the privilege of working at [Meridian, An IB World School], Austin, Texas where I honed my skills in delivering high-quality IB education, fostering inquiry-based learning, and promoting intercultural understanding among students. In Particular, I have worked with Grade 5 students and love to share my expertise in the PYP Exhibition. 

My experience in Singapore also enriched my teaching practice, providing me with valuable insights into diverse educational contexts and strategies for effectively meeting the needs of diverse student populations.I bring with me a wealth of experience, having served as a Primary Years Programme (PYP) homeroom teacher in both Singapore and Texas, USA.

I have 12 years of teaching experience and international teaching experience in IB schools such as  Singapore and Austin, Texas, USA. 

My experience in Singapore enriched my teaching practice, providing me with valuable insights into diverse educational contexts and strategies for effectively meeting the needs of diverse student populations.I bring with me a wealth of experience, having served as a Primary Years Programme (PYP) homeroom teacher in both Singapore and Texas, USA.

My job responsibilities included: 

Developed and implemented a well-rounded curriculum designed for students aged 7-11 years.
Design, prepare and deliver lessons in line with PYP learning methodology.
Assess and monitor the progress of learners and set goals for improvement, including writing students' reports and attending meetings with parents.
Liaise with the PYP Coordinator to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum.
Manage clear and precise parent interaction.
Take up extra-curricular activities. Be a part of school events, assemblies, staff
training, meetings etc.
Facilitated outdoor learning experiences and the involvement of nature as
much as possible.
Follow school policies and regulations regarding safety and school procedures
at all times.
