My responsibilities as Production Engineer at Resin Plant were:

Producing thermosetting polymers for the production of MDF Board.

Oversee the day to day administrative and operational functions of business

Established efficient workflow processes, monitored daily productivity and implemented modifications to improve the overall effectiveness of personnel and productivity

Implemented HSE standards against harmful chemicals such as Formaldehyde, Acidic and Basic solutions as well as during Project and Production Trials.

Project Summary: Plant expansion and Production Efficiency

Calculating thermal efficiency (surface heat transfer area) of Continuous Stirrer Tank Reactor CSTR.

Measurement of piping of whole plant and changing them.

Changing pipe sizing and Dia for efficient heat transfer resulting in increasing increased production efficiency.

Calculations for chilled water requirements and proposing suitable cooling towers.

Adding an Ammonia Chiller Plant required to reduce the time for cooling of batches produced.

Implemented HSE safety standards during Project work and Production Trials.
