Experience
I am a self-motivated educator with rich experience teaching a range of subjects in the field of medical sciences, including anatomy and physiology, cell and molecular biology and research techniques in biomedical sciences. My teaching philosophy is student-centrism, which ultimately translates into delivering high-quality, relevant, and effective teaching and mentorship that is guided by up-to-date pedagogy. During my lecturing experience, I have been involved in the development of pedagogy-related practice to improve constructive alignment, specifically, aligning learning outcomes to the method of assessment. I have also been involved with a project to use formative feedback in laboratory-based assessment to attain better student satisfaction and experience. I also have experience supervising undergraduate and postgraduate projects in the area of Biomedical Sciences; including cell biology, cell/tissue culture and immunology-related projects.
