I am an experienced educational professional with over 18 years in developing and executing strategies, expanding student's opportunities and empowering learners and faculty members with the needed tools to create, innovate and inspire others. I am motivated in addressing challenges by promoting and implementing innovative strategies in line with the best educational practices. I am committed to improving students' education by creating a futuristic vision that provides students with choices and limitless opportunities to prepare them to shape their own future and be change agents through creative techniques and inventive design thinking.

As an educational leader, I started by redefining the expectations of faculty members and students. By clearly communicating expectations and raising the proverbial performance bar and setting everyone’s sites on a higher level of performance regarding teaching and learning, all understood that “lifelong learning” is not just a term but an action. As a result, transformation of how longitudinal data was collected and analyzed impacted school improvement plans; new patterns and variants were identified as well and new parallels were recognized. This generated fresh ideas and ignited curiosity to enhance strengths, identify areas of opportunities and focus on areas of weaknesses. 

As a Curriculum Specialist, I regularly looked for opportunities to turn ideas into action, inject creativity, critical thinking, as well as initiate new strategies for innovation into the curriculum and assessments. I revamped the English curriculum by approaching it with fresh perspectives and employed right brain imagination with left brain logic and ensured smooth transition between grade levels and the development of skills needed for future careers.
