• Reviewing Electrical drawings (Power & Light layout, SLD, Telephone drawings, BOQ).
• Studying technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
• Reviewing Value Engineering (VE), auditing Cost Saving, and checking Variation for approval.
• Follow up on the status of material and shop drawings, keep all parties informed of the status, and follow up on the implementation of the Clients comments promptly.
• Arranging all required materials as per the scheduled program of execution and time frame for each activity in all projects after coordination with the Project Manager & Management.
• Coordination with the engineering design team and with the local authorities (DEWA, CIVIL DEFENSE, DU, and ETISALAT) on all aspects of the design and approval.
• Check the activities on-site and provide the necessary reminders to the Project Manager, Construction Manager for any immediate action.
• Providing guidance, technical support, and explanation of the complete project to the team.
• Inspecting completed installations and observing operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
• Attending meetings with Clients and Main Contractors to discuss key issues related to the project and take effective corrective actions.
• At project closeout coordinates the production of as-built drawings to ensure they are delivered per contract requirements.
• Ensure that any maintenance during the DLP period is taken care of and closed immediately.
