Ramya Iyer

I am an experienced tax professional with over 15+ years of experience; Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India; hold the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (“ADIT”). 

Throughout my career, I have developed the ability to thoroughly understand an organization’s business and industry, analyze data, identify material tax issues, and provide sound recommendations on a range of issues.

Over the years, I have gained a reputation for client service, commitment, knowledge, and creativity. I have dealt with complex projects consisting of multicultural teams and have strong interpersonal skills and work well as a team player.

 I believe my educational background and knowledge, experience and skill-set that I’ve acquired through these years can continue to add value to any organisation.

 

Highlights of working at KPMG LG (from Nov 2017 until now) include working with Global Tax senior leadership, delivering a range of complex tax/ transfer pricing projects on time and to budget. Projects include OECD BEPS 2.0 Pillar 1 and 2 advisory, UAE corporate tax advisory, transfer pricing advisory, OECD BEPS Action 13 documentation compliance obligations and UAE economic substance regulations (ESR) compliance/ advisory. Special focus on business development, managing and developing junior members of staff.

Earlier experience includes transfer pricing consulting including (re) structuring/ business model optimization, transfer pricing documentation and policy advisory, transfer pricing audits, litigation and dispute resolution in India. 

In addition, I also have experience working in an in-house transfer pricing team of a global investment bank which entailed transfer pricing accounting, business performance reporting and internal controls.
