About Rania Abboud:

I am actively seeking a full time position in Finance and Administration Management, where I am able to make full use and expand my experience, develop my career and contribute to the success of the Company.  My professional history includes knowledge, skills and practice in finance and accounting (International and local) financial systems and ERPs,  risk management and credit control for simple and complex organizations and groups, Administration and Office Management. 


I am actually looking for a full time job, however I am open to any project for which my experience and profile may be suitable.

Experience

The breadth of my career focuses on providing financial controls to help the company I am working in reduce costs while maintaining competitive edge. I excel in championing systems upgrades to enhance accounting performance and practices, while providing financial, commercial and strategic support to the business. 

Having worked within the financial field for over 16 years, I have developed a wide range of skills and knowledge that would meet, and exceed the expectations. In my present role as a Head of Finance Controls, I am handling the internal and finance controls of the company (Telecommunications) and I am fully responsible for the Asset Insurance ($800 Million) including Property All Risk, Erection All Risk, Third Party Liability, Political Violence, and All Risk Motor Insurance.

In my previous role, I was responsible multinational operations (Lebanon, UAE, and Europe) and activities (Shipbuilding, Insurance Brokerage, Automotive, Contracting and Sub-Contracting, Hotels, restaurants, and leisure).

I have had many achievements, including successful full ERP re-implementation for the shipbuilding activity, Inventory and purchasing module, Accounting Policies, document and workflow procedures. 

In my present role , I have succeeded in fully migrate all the Data and information form the old Oracle application to the new one where additional features were added to the existing modules, and additional modules were implemented and linked to the others. 

In previous roles, Automotive and Heavy duty Machinery, I have created and developed with the help of a programmer an in-house application generating Expenses Approval workflow, based and conditional to the Manual of Authorities and on the approved Budget. I have also worked on the Guaranteed Auto Protection. 

I have also enhanced and automated multiple consolidated reports and Dashboard presentations, on Risk and Asset Management, Credit and Facilities, advanced analytical reports, Policies and procedures. 

Education

I have a BS in Business Administration from Saint Joseph University in Lebanon, Faculty of Business Management option Information technology (intensive courses completed in 2 years instead of 3)

and I have a license (which is a degree higher than the bachelor) from Saint Joseph University in Business Analysis faculty of Business Management option Informaiton Technology
