I am an experienced python backend software engineer seeking a mid/senior level role in software development. In the past I have worked with a various software companies ranging from startups to big corporations. The projects I worked on involved in; web automation, API development, database building and management, CI/CD pipeline design and management etc. I have also worked in various Data Science roles in the past, predominantly in the financial services industry.

Senior Data Scientist - Cabot Financial UK;

• Redevelopment of of the company’s main cashflow forecast model written in SAS/SQL using Markov Chain methodology
• Migrating the codebase from local infrastructure into Databricks on Microsoft Azure
• Re-coding every module in Python utilising Spark
• Assisting the data engineering team in migrating the databases from local SQL servers to Azure (provided data formats and schemas)
• Implementation of Azure Devops for project managing, version control and CI/CD purposes
