I am currently leading the STEM Education curriculum and coordination for elementary middle and high school, I am working with over 25 teachers to facilitate the work, assessment, PBL, progress, competitions, events, and many activities that comes under STEM.

Experience

STEM Education Coordinator (Sharjah American International School- Abu Dhabi- UAE) Oct 2021- Present
Duties Involved:
● Certified STEM Educator by STEM.ORG. Leading a team to facilitate and develop a PBL curriculum addressing real-life problems and providing solutions.
● Responsible for all competitions and students’ participation all around the country. Such as World Robotics Olympiad, FIRST LEGO LEAUGUE, FIRST TECH CHALLENGE, Project Design Space by Dubai Institution for Design and Innovation and many other local competitions.
● Working with students, teachers, and admin to organize, facilitate, coordinate, and execute any STEM Education related activities.
● Handling Design and Technology for High School. PBL work and different platforms that can be used for innovation, design, and tech. 3D design software such as TinkerCad, Fusion 360, 123dDesign, SketchUp. Also working on App development with students using MIT platforms. Interior design and decoration software such as HomeStyler, Coohome and many others.
● Responsible for After School Activities, running different clubs such as Project Design Space by DIDI (Dubai Design and Innovation Institution) participating in season 6, First LEGO League Club, Robotics.
● Preparing and delivering some other electives in school such as Personal Finance, Health and Nutrition, Shark Tank (The American Show). In Shark Tank classes we are working on an Entrepreneurship exploring different concepts and ideas. This work is being done with middle school. In Health and Nutrition, we work towards a holistic approach (Body, mind, and soul) how to take care of our wellbeing and this topic is for middle and high school. For Personal Finance we speak about building healthy relationship with money, learning about different concepts and ideas that could help reduce personal issues and considering the contribution to those around us.
● Responsible for MakerSpace, where we produce students own work and products, using different types of machinery, 3D printers, robotics, and CNC machines. The theme for the work is always a storyline where we try always to connect the members to real life and the concepts of global citizenship.
Head of Well-Being Department (Al Nahda National School for Boys- Abu Dhabi- UAE) SEP 2020- SEP 2021
Duties Involved:
● Working with students, teachers, parents, and other staff members to maintain a healthy environment and atmosphere for the Well-Being of all members of our school community.
● Working with leads and heads of departments, supervisors, counselors, and other staff members to form a teacher council, parent’s council, and Well-Being committee.
● Head of the committee responsible for Wellbeing domain on CIS (Council of International Schools) reaccreditation. Studies accreditation standards such as in MOE and ADEK policies and regulations.
● Collecting and analyzing data on student’s personal, social, and emotional wellbeing and work collaboratively with a team to enhance those aspects.

● Responsible for the Student Life Organization and its activities, also plan sessions on topics related to life skills, emotional intelligence, physical and mental health.
● Responsible for AD MUN and assisting in the organization and the preparation for it as our school is the Host of this big event.
● Leads school clubs and after school activities, also arranging for different practices and camps outside school with third parties. Volunteering programs and guide the students to the suitable ways possible.
● Responsible for planning yearly for calendar events, school activities, extracurricular activities, morning advisory program and staff gatherings.
● Responsible for ROBOTICS club and head coach for competitions inside and outside UAE.
● Working with grade advisors (Homeroom teachers) for better morning programs and the
elections of student’s council and prefects.
● Preparing guidelines for the different committees that comes under Well Being

STEAM Facilitator/ LEGO Trainer (Atlab STEM Academy- Dubai- UAE) JAN 2018- AUG 2020
Duties Involved:
• Working with students, teachers and engineers to teach them all about basics to actuators and sensors using several well-known educational kits (LEGO Education: EV3 MINDSTORMS- Simple and Powered machines- Early simple machines- WeDo –WeDo 2.0- Add on Sets Renewable Energy and Pneumatics- PASCO Sensors- SAM LABS- 3D Printing- PITSCO).
• Working with Sharjah American International Schools as STEM Facilitator where we make PBL linked to curriculum Grades 3-7 with full schedule in the school STEM Lab. Preparing lessons- Making School’s monthly Newsletter. Assessment for each student on a weekly basis to evaluate their progress with respect to 21st century skills. Preparing for school events (STEM Nights, STEM Family Morning- PD sessions for teachers). Qualifying teachers to be able to develop LPs mapped to NGSS curriculum K-12.
• Giving training to students and learners around the Gulf (Oman) 150 students in one session along with 3 more trainers. LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 Training (SPACE CHALLENGE).
• Training volunteers for FLL 2017 and 2018 to be part of the competition- Referee during both competitions.
• Training teachers from The Ministry of Education to learn about PASCO products which is being used in around over 50 public schools all over the UAE.
• Giving LEGO WeDo 2.0 training in summer camp 2017 for MOE students (Girl’s camp grades 3-8)
• Head Referee for First Organization competition “FTC” for the first time in UAE March 2019
• Developing curriculum for STEM schools (School that have STEM or STREAM programs) in Al Fujairah and RAK.

• PITSCO Certificate for attendance of 4 days training on the pedagogy behind the work and the message they try to carry and also an exclusive workshop on PITSCO Synergy program

Robotics Instructor (iSTEM - Cairo- Egypt) DEC 2016 – JUN 2017 Duties Involved:
• Training students aged 7-21 all about basics to actuators and sensors using educational kits (LEGO EV3 MINDSTORMS).
• Preparing lessons and presentations to simplify the knowledge to the students in a way that is more practical and actively relevant to the subject given.
• Enhancing STEM education and Computational Thinking as per the challenges they find in their way designing, building and programming robots.
• Coaching them as participants in worldwide competitions such as InfoMatrix (Romania), Genius (US) and WRO 2017 (Costa Rica).
• Class management through using formative assessment to design effective differentiating for learning. • Evaluating students due to the overall performance as per suggested survey to make sure they are learning everything they need to qualify as students that could manage to think about STEM in a different way.
