I am an experienced and research-focused Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering with over 15 years in academia, holding a Ph.D. in Thermofluids and an M.S. from the University of Oklahoma, USA, focused on advanced heat transfer and fluid mechanics. Skilled in delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses including Computer Aided Design, Finite Element Methods, Operations Research, and Advanced FEM, with a strong emphasis on applied learning and student engagement.

I am an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering with over 15 years of academic and research experience, combined with a background in CAE industry.

Academic Career (2010 – Present):
Serving at St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur, I has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in CAD, Finite Element Methods, Thermal Engineering, and Operations Research. I have mentored 15+ UG and 4 PG research projects, contributed to curriculum enrichment, and guided SAE BAJA teams for over 12 years. I have also held multiple academic leadership roles, including NBA Criterion 4 Coordinator, NAAC Coordinator, Alumni Cell In-charge, and MTech Program In-charge for CAD/CAM.

Industry Experience (2005 – 2010):
Worked with Geometric Technology Pvt. Ltd. and Tooltech Software Pvt. Ltd., handling projects for global OEMs such as German automotive companies, Messier-Dowty, Kirloskar-EBARA, and Bajaj Steel. Expertise includes:

Crash, NVH, and safety simulations for BIW and closures

Thermal and structural FEA on exhaust manifolds, bumpers, and actuators

Non-linear static analysis for aerospace landing gear actuators and industrial components

EV gearbox modeling and design

Leadership & Recognition:
Recognized with multiple awards, including Outstanding Contribution Awards (2017, 2023) by St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur, and the Dronacharya Award (2023) by SAE for exceptional mentorship.

Technical Skills:
Proficient in CAE tools (Abaqus, HyperMesh, OptiStruct, CalculiX), CAD (Pro-E), and productivity tools.

I hold a Ph.D. in Thermofluids with a focus on electrohydrodynamic (EHD) drying processes, supported by earlier research during my M.S. at the University of Oklahoma, USA. I has authored multiple journal publications, conference papers, and hold a patent (2025) on non-thermal drying mechanisms. My research spans heat transfer, CFD, EHD drying, and sustainable thermal processing techniques.
