Experience
the Shangri-La Hotel in Abu Dhabi, I coordinate / deliver technical skills, service and product knowledge training to housekeeping personnel. My responsibilities include monitoring the daily activities of all departments to determine training needs; supervising staff performance; motivating personnel to achieve standards and performing any ad hoc front office, housekeeping or security tasks assigned. I pride myself on my ability to develop excellent rapport with guests and strong working relationships with colleagues at all levels / across departments.
Prior to this, I worked as a Housekeeping Trainer, Housekeeping and Butler Supervisor at the same establishment, which entailed maintaining the highest possible standards of cleanliness in rooms and public areas whilst supervising / leading housekeeping / butler personnel to deliver a friendly, guest-oriented service at all times. I have also worked as a Rooms Controller and Order Taker in the Dubai branch of the hotel. Previously I worked as part of the Pre-opening Team at the Westin Jeddah Hotel and as a Housekeeping and Laundry Institutional Trainee at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon in Dhaka.
