I am a professional SharePoint/BPM Architect with hands-on SharePoint 2019/2016/2007 Admin/Dev experience of about 15 years. I have extensive hands-on experience in Nintex, ShareGate, Power BI, ASP.net, C#, with knowledge of windows troubleshooting.   • Managing the Corporate Intranet Portal based on SharePoint 2019 and Nintex.
  • Designing, installing, configuring, maintaining and patching of the servers.
  • Creating sub-sites, lists, libraries, search indexes, permissions, services, etc.
  • Recording user requirements and suggesting proper OOB technologies.
  • Developing, deploying and customizing custom solutions using .Net, jQuery, etc.
  • Responsible for internal eservices using SharePoint, Nintex and ASP .Net.

GCAA INTRANET PORTAL (SharePoint 2019/2016/2007)

  • Designed, installed and configured corporate Portal based on SharePoint 2019.
  • Gathering Requirements, consolidating the Lessons Learned, applying KM practices.
  • Created architecture keeping in mind High Availability(HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR). Used SQL Always On technology.
  • Configure workflow manager, metadata, taxonomy, search indexing, user profiles, My Sites using best practices.
  • Handle the project with external vendor (Wipro) and managed the project including risk management and mitigation.
  • Currently handling Phase II of new Intranet Portal which includes Search.
  • Designing, installing, configuring, maintaining and patching of the servers.
  • Created SharePoint 2016 Portal with integration of attendance system, task management system, and other.
  • I have been handling the GCAA Intranet Portal from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2019.
  • Supporting and educating staff about how SharePoint things like document libraries work.
  • Created the original GCAA Corporate Intranet Portal using SharePoint 2007 and classic ASP.
  • Technologies and Tools used include SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Photoshop, CSS3. jQuery, JavaScript, React, Jira, VSS, etc.

 

GCAA INTERNAL SERVICES (SharePoint/Nintex/ASP .Net/Power BI)

  • Brainminers: (ASP .NET/SharePoint) Allows the GCAA staff to create their suggestions and ideas. Allows the Strategy team to choose, categorize, forward and close the idea.
  • Qafazat: (Nintex/SharePoint/MS Access) This is a complicated system which allows particular staff to create ‘Qafazat’ which is then analyzed, scored and evaluated through the system. It has hierarchical permission, automatic evaluation, etc.
  • Communication eservices: (Nintex/SharePoint/Power BI): This is a number of eservices created for Communication sector allowing staff to apply for Internal communication, event management requests, etc. 
  • Strategy eservices: (Nintex/SharePoint/Power BI): This is a number of eservices created for Strategy sector allowing staff to upload Working Papers, ideas, MoUs, etc. It has multiple levels of approval, and external approvals.
  • My Journey Log: (Nintex/SharePoint/Power BI): This is a eservice which allows staff to record their achievement, and then Power BI dashboard is used to report this data to the managers.
  • Admin eservices: (Classic ASP/SharePoint 2007): Using ASP, ASP .Net, jQuery, JavaScript and SharePoint 2007, converted more than 15 services into eservices. These services were constantly upgraded until the authority adopted an ERP to manage this.

 

Other Roles and Duties including Vendor Management, Technical Support

  • Was the SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for all vendors for anything related to the Intranet Portal.
  • Helping with any staff queries regarding MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Access.
  • Migration tools including ShareGate, survey tools like Checkbox survey, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, Fiddler, Wireshark, etc.
  • Handled other legacy and specialized tools like ECCAIRS, Jupiter Archiving system, Civilsoft HR Management system.
  • Conducting UAT, creating test cases, conducting load testing, etc.
  • Part of the core Awards Preparation Committee for the SKGEP and was interviewed individually by the Awards Auditors, which was major reason for winning the award.
