Marketing Executive at Dell Technologies

Supported the marketing team in the planning and execution of 10 different events. This ranged from smaller Dell‑led events for specific customers to larger public events such as Gitex and Dell Technologies Forum Acted as the liaison between the marketing team, the external event planning agency and other Dell employees involved in these events Created PowerPoint slide decks summarising the plans and benefits of upcoming events, the marketing team would presnt these decks to senior management to justify events Compiled documents with detailed information about each event for the social media team to guide them in creating relevant content Assisted the event management agency with logistics matters such applying for legal event permits, audio/visual set up before events, etc Was present on‑site for each of these events. My degree consisted of various business, marketing, finance and accounting courses. Almost all the courses involved group projects, for which I regularly volunteered as group leader. I led groups of typically 5‑6 people, all usually from different countries and backgrounds. Due to my high academic standing, I was granted a scholarship for the entirety of my study. I was awarded the Dean's Merit List Award for academic excellence twice. Final GPA = 3.97/4.00, which qualifies for graduation with distinction.
