Plan, direct and control the activities of a team of 10 involved in managing the Procurements- Imports of Raw Material / Export of Finished Goods /Import & Export Documentation / Warehousing / Distribution management functions of the company in UAE and work closely with management, staff and customers to position the company for continued growth and market expansion. 

 Member of the team involved in the implementation of ISO-22000/ FSSC 22000 V.4.1. Define department goals and objectives and ensure communication to employees. . 

 Plan, develop and implement Best Business Practices for the SCM operations and ensure adherence to Company’s Policies and processes. 

 Planning, developing and implementing strategies for managing the centralized purchasing functions for procurement and introducing the policies, systems, and processes required to support business operations and improve financial performance of the company.

Prepare short-term and long-term forecast and product supply planning and provide effective logistics/distribution solutions to the various units of the company. 

Manage and control inventory with the emphasis on increasing ROI for all locations.

Ensure Trade Compliance with regard to the Air/Sea/ Land-Cargo Shipments in and out of UAE. Monitor regulations and changes affecting the industry and implementation of these to the satisfaction of business needs. 

 Provide seasoned expertise for Order Management issuing of shipping instructions, import and export documentation handling against L/C. Coordination with other departments, L/C verification and amendments, follow up for payments, managing and controlling inventory in order to maintain inventory within acceptable limits for the MENA Region /Sri Lanka/ Hong Kong/ Malaysia/Singapore/ Taiwan / USA in line with the corporate objectives and goals 

Manage, coach, mentor, and develop staff to achieve prescribed objectives .Plan, develop and implement Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements for Service Providers. . Develop and maintain excellent relations with – Free Zone Authorities and Dubai Customs for customs clearance and documentation, Chamber of Commerce and Dubai Municipality for the inspection release for the imported goods

 Negotiate with suppliers for contracted services 3 PL’s e.g. shipping lines, road transportation fleet providers, implement and manage the signed contracts.
