About Siona Menezes:
SIONA CARMEL MENEZES received her B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2005 and an MTech degree in Digital Electronics and Advanced Communication (D.E.A.C.) Engineering from the Electronics and Communication Department, Manipal Institute of Technology, India in 2007 and joined as a Lecturer in the same department from 2007-2010. She then worked as a Lecturer in the Engineering Department of AMA International University, Bahrain from 2011-2013, where she also held the position of Programme Head Informatics Engineering. She is currently pursuing a PhD from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department, BITS Pilani Dubai Campus, U.A.E. Her research interests include microelectronics, semiconductor devices, reliability issues in MOS devices and circuits, neuromorphic circuits, systems, and applications.

Programme Head and Lecturer September 2011 - May 2013 AMA International University - Salmabad, Bahrain • Managing the Programme of Informatics Engineering in terms of the Courses, Faculty, and Students. • Led and managed the programme of Informatics Engineering for the ABET Visit in October 2012. • Addressed the concerns of the EAC team of ABET which included revision of the BSIE Curriculum and attaining the approval by the Curriculum Committee of the University. • Evaluating Faculty for their performance and approving examination manuscripts and faculty clearance at the end of each trimester. • Lectured 2nd and 3rd year engineering students on Advanced Digital Electronics, Electronics 1, Electronics 2, Electric Circuit Theory, Numerical Methods, and Analysis, Differential Calculus, Statistics, and Probability. • Conducted labs for 2nd and 3rd year engineering students in Electronics and Electric Circuit Theory (Informatics and Mechatronics). • Coordinator for Electronics, Electrical, and Math subjects. • Member of the organizing team for the College of Engineering held a seminar on Robotics. • Academic Advisor of 2nd and 3rd year, Informatics and Mechatronics Engineering students.

• Conducting a comprehensive literature review on the thesis topic, gathering relevant literature, gaining knowledge on EDA tools like Cadence virtuoso, OriginLab, etc., implementing memory and neuromorphic circuits on the software platforms, conducting reliability analysis when the neuron circuit is stimulated by synapse circuits and interpreting the results on the output spiking pattern, publishing the work in good quality SCI, SCOPUS indexed journals and conferences.
• Assisting in various laboratory sessions such as Digital Design, Communication Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Microprocessors, etc., for B.E. students in the EEE department.
• Assisting MTech. and B.E. engineering students in research projects.
Thesis entitled “Design of Aging-Aware Circuit for Device Reliability Issues” has been submitted. It is currently under review
