As a Medical receptionist I greet and welcome patients into the clinic..I answer phone calls and book appointments for both old and walk in patients.I send emails and reply to mails..I give new patients outpatients and inpatient forms to fill if it is their first time in the clinic.I ask patients if they have health insurance and the names of their health insurance..I will then use the patients ID card to check their insurance eligibility on different insurance portals.If the patient insurance is eligible then I will register the patient under the above name insurance policy then I usher the patient into the nursing station for his vitals to be monitored..I then go to the doctor office and inform him of the patient and present the patient insurance claim form which he must have signed..

Record pts medical history and symptoms.
IV and IM administration.
Conducting ECG.
Cannulation..
Infusion setting.. Bathing, mouth care, feeding,Diaper change, change clothes, Ambulating with patients out of the house for fresh air..
Check patients insurance Eligibility and registering patients whose insurance is covered under insurance..
Blood samples collection via IV lines(sending samples to Medsol,Minerva,Al borg and Thyrocare labs)
RBS and FBS testing
Sending pts sputum, urine,stool to tge lab for examination.
Vitals signs checking and registering into clinic soft system under patient names.
Auto cliffing used surgical equipments.
Receiving calls for booking appointments for patients.
Attached patients lab reports.
Follow up doctor's appointments and prescriptions
Providing emotional support to patients and relatives.
Administer swab to both new and old patients.
