My name is SOUD ABDULKARIM a Muslim kenyan father of two children,Aged 39.I have Worked in industrial operations for 16years as a control room operator and process operator respectively. I have undergone alot of safety skills and fell in love with safety skills operations the day i received my save life award in my work area.

I have a total of 16yrs working experience in industrial operations, 6 years as a control room operator in a grainhandling company,GRAINBULK HANDLERS discharching grains for ship to silos and from silos to bagging plants as a control room Operator.I am  Familiar with scada system where i have operated portalinos,convayers, elevators,filling up hoppers using HMI machines for six years.

Through my experience i was able to join one of the biggest minerals sands plant in kenya, BASE TITANIUM from commissioning as a process operator for 10years,my work includes monitoring equipments,pressure guages,flow rates,quality,samples points ensuring quality product,monitoring isolations during shutdowns and writting permits to work in pcp wet plant. Through this period i have undergone alot of safety trainings including lockout tag out procedures,job safety analysis,isolations,permit to work level 1& 2. 

I have worked as a safety rep for almost three years,emergency response team in my shift and a certified first aider. I have no language barriers when it comes to communication skills,verbal,radio and rigging signs. I believe in myself,  experienced enough to bring value and blend in fast enough with your team towards achieving our goals

I have background knowledge of kenya 844 system from primary to secondary,i did computer basic packages and skill, went for a diploma of clearing and forwarding simba system and plant operations
