Job Responsibilities with Etisalat UAE – SOC Teams Performance Engineer

• E2E Performance Analysis using Vendor tools like Eolive, Eomind, Riverbed, Geo Location, WNG, Cemod & IBM UPM
• E2E Signaling and trace Analysis using Eolive & Eofinder/eoSearch for CS, PS, IMS, VAS, Mobile Access & Core interfaces (A interface, IuCS, IuPS, S1 Interface, S5/S6, MAP Layer, ISUP & SIP calls.
• Coordinate with developers and provide logic for Tool enhancements, Dashboard Creation and optimization based on the management requirement.
• Analyze network performance based on Network Level, Regional, LAC, RAC, TAC & clusters using Network statistics.
• Ensure a healthy NW performance by Surveillance of all the Major KPI’s in 2G, 3G, 4G/VOLTE & 5G using statistics from the NW.
• Preparing Weekly, Daily & Monthly reports for SOC.
• Monitoring and analyzing Roaming Inbound and Outbound CS & PS KPI’s and escalate per operator for troubleshooting.
• Monitoring IDD Incoming and Outgoing KPI’s and escalate per destination for trouble shooting.
• Monitoring Mobile Core CS, Mobile Core PS, IMS(VOLTE) VoWiFi, SMS Hub, SMSoIP & VAS Network on the KPI Statistics and investigate the issues for a quick resolution.
• Monitor stats periodically per Cluster/BSC/RNC/CSCF/SBG/UGW/SGW/PGW/MME/UPF/AMF/SMF/MSS/IGW/APN/Roaming Operator/Country/Regional level, benchmark performance for any degradation and check related parameters.
• Following Incident Management Process to ensure no breach of SLA/OLA for the Remedy tickets.
• Daily post activity performance benchmarking and measures to improve the Major Contractual Network KPIs.
• Performs any other duties as required.
• Providing Analytical reports on management’s request.
• Coordinate with OSS development teams for automating SOC KPI’s using Big Data’s Global API or UFM tool from multiple sources by SNMP or Kafka or CSV export.

Job Responsibilities with Huawei - Zain Project (KSA)

• Ensure a healthy NW performance by Surveillance of all the Major KPI’s in 2G, 3G and 4G using statistics from the NW.
• Check service degradation alarms & escalate to concerned department.
• Check for the Traces required by the concerned department to analyze issues.
• Opening and closing TT’s for the Degraded KPI’s.
• Daily post activity performance Benchmarking and measures to improve the Major contractual Radio KPIs.
• Close monitoring of post-activity performance & share the impact on KPI’s after the activity & prepare a report for the customer.
• Check new On-Air sites performance/Single Site Verification/Clusters Verification.
• Identify worst performing cells on daily basis & then perform actions to improve their KPI’s
• Generate stats periodically on Cell/BSC/RNC/UGW/MSS/IGW level, to monitor performance for any degradation and check sites availability for any sudden degradation.
• Investigating and escalating NW issues.
• Performance monitoring & reporting for 2G/3G/LTE KPI’s.
• Analyzing & solving customer complaints if any.
• Performs any other duties as required.
