Syeda Zeenat Raza Rizvi

With over 18 years of experience in the field of Computer Science and ICT education, I have cultivated a deep passion for teaching and empowering others through technology. My journey began in Pakistan, where I developed and implemented the first Computer Science curriculum for primary and middle school students, achieving remarkable class averages of 88% and 92% with my initial batches. I find immense joy in teaching senior students and training adults to harness the power of technology.

I am particularly skilled in curriculum design, IT integration project management, and educational technology innovation. My expertise extends to writing learning support material and assessment items for examination boards and textbook publishers, as well as organizing and conducting various international examinations. Additionally, I have a proven track record of enhancing student engagement and performance through innovative teaching methods and ICT integration projects.

I have extensive experience in ICT and Computer Science education. Since August 2018, I have been at Dubai Scholars Private School, teaching IGCSE and A-Level students, conducting international exams, and managing curriculum revisions. From November 2011 to April 2018, I worked at The Apple International School, leading external examinations, developing report systems, and implementing ICT integration projects. My career began at Al Murtaza School in Pakistan (May 1996 – June 2008), where I designed the Computer Science syllabus and improved student outcomes through ICT integration projects.

I hold a Master of Science in Computer Science from Aga Khan University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Karachi. Additionally, I have a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) certification. This solid academic and professional qualification background has equipped me with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the dynamic field of ICT and Computer Science education.
