Talha Umar

                        I graduated as a Chemical Engineer from UET Lahore in 2017. I did my internship at DG Cement Kallar Kahar. I feel I have those organizational and coordination skills and I enjoy juggling all aspects of a project. In addition to my technical skills, I have strong written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills. I had experience of organizing the yearly "Hostel Night" function for over 3 years as the Senior Vice President. I was the Media Incharge of almost all the Sports & Academic activities in my university. I even helped in organizing 3 safety workshops at my university collaborating with PEC & other HSE Societies. I attended a 3 month long Amal Career-Prep fellowship in order to develop business skills (e.g., communication, leadership, problem solving, teamwork, etc.) that will help me make a deeper impact on the job. At the end I was the Gold medalist of my batch. Currenly I am working as Assistant Manager R&D/QC Lab at the Brighto Paints FZLLC Ras Al Khaimah UAE.

- Paint formulations, New developments, Raw materials testing.
- Supervising Production Batches.
- Experienced in all kinds of Emulsions, Textures, Luxury & Enamel coatings.
- Familiar with Universal Tinting System, data banks & Spectrophotometer.
- Responsible for conducting research, developing new products, improving existing products and conducting field evaluations on new products if required.
- Recommend new raw materials, equipment and manufacturing procedures.
- Provide technical and supervisory support within the laboratory and other departments.
- Guide QC and production in dealing with troubleshooting problems.
- Perform analyses, tests, and development of new paint formulations as per ISO, ASTM standards.
