I have worked in the Insurance industry for 17 years. Further, obtained an MBA and professional Insurance qualifications (ACII-UK, Chartered Insurer) along with valuable experience in HR & Administration functions and customer services during various positions in my career. 

I have experience in all General Insurance classes and specifically in Medical Insurance and Motor Insurance.I have successfully managed a Medical Insurance Department for one of the top Insurers in Sri Lanka.

Further, I have successfully performed in an Insurance Company in Maldives and also held various senior positions in Insurance Companies in Sri Lanka.

• Excellent communication in the English language both verbal and written.(IELTS band 7)
• Very good working experience in MS Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email and browsing.
• Experience in General Insurance underwriting, Claims handling, Customer services, Portfolio analysis and management
• Experience in Medical Underwriting
• Successful in prioritizing and handling multiple responsibilities with accuracy and in a timely manner (multitasking)
• Well organized, great attention to detail in all matters and specially in handling files, documents, databases etc.
• A good listener, with time management, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in a team as well as individually with quick learning ability and great adaptability to the situation. 
• Ability to work under pressure and in demanding situations.
