Worked onshore in Oman oil and gas field “Safah-Wadi Latham” with well known MNC Occidental of Oman (OXY), playing role for managing contractor crews day to day activities, equipment allocation, job safety, quality and commissioning.

Mainly responsible to supervise 4 different LLC and SAOC level construction contractors, Survey service provider contractor and 3 SME contractors providing earthworks, civil and other general field maintenance related work facilities. Responsible for 6 different blocks B-09, 27, 62, 30, 65 and 51 where OXY operating in Oman North area.

Excellent desert experience to work in sand dunes, plain and remote areas.

OCCIDENTAL OF OMAN (Jan 2013 –Aug 2021) 

CIVIL CONSTRUCTION LEAD• FACILITIES •

Worked as Senior Construction Civil Lead / Superintendent with Oxy, operating in Oman north, responsible for 6 different Oil and Gas blocks. Worked on multi discipline projects. Very good experience on managing and construction of well pads for drilling rigs and construction of new access roads network. Reinforced foundations and concreting jobs supervision and execution. Supervision and managing day to day activities of 23 earthworks construction teams and 5 number of civil services crew along with 3 field road maintenance and Surveyor contractor crews and ensuring work quality delivered as per specs. Being on this position below are some of main responsibilities I have performed.

Core Responsibilities.

1. Site supervision, Planning, Costing, Budgeting, Management, Quality assurance, Surveying are main key role playing responsibilities. 
2. Conducting daily morning meeting with all contractor’s site representatives and discussing daily work plan, progress and resources utilization.
3. Reviewing and verifying permits, risk assessments, method statements.
4. Closely monitoring contractor’s crew manpower and equipment availability, reviewing and following up on daily basis breakdown recoveries and allocation of resources. Assuring enough resourcing to meet planned targets and KPI. Providing assistance to contractors on shifting equipment and manpower as per work priority from location to location. 
5. Reviewing contractor’s daily progress reports, and reporting on daily basis each job/project wise to town based Managers.
6. Monitor work schedules and advise on potential delays.
7. Defining scope of work and raising requests for work instructions to issue relevant contractors.
8. Evaluation and costing of different type of scopes.
9. Monitor daily consumable material deliveries and ensure compliance with specifications.
10. Working closely with contractor’s representatives to explain work scopes any ensuring all requirements are in line and planned properly to get job done on time.
11. Reviewing and verifying contractors day rate / monthly jobs tickets and invoices.
12. Attend weekly/other Contractor meetings.
13. Supervision of different types of foundations in green field and as well as inside production facility area i.e. manifolds, pumps, compressors, tanks etc.
14. Assign day to day activities to surveyor’s crew to carry out survey on different projects.
15. Deciding well pad orientation and access roads network in field.
16. Providing guidelines to Surveyor. Monitoring and verifying survey team jobs and providing day today job assignments.
17. Advising on move options for drilling well center by providing drawings and coordinates in case of having any obstructions on site and same discussing with concern departments.
18. Checking / verifying drawings in Auto CAD for new wells marked on site.
19. Day to day coordination and assistance with other departments i.e. Mechanical and E & I teams, Operations, Drilling, Rigs, Well test and Hoist teams to facilitate on their requests.
20. Review and verifying claimed quantities / shop orders submitted by Contractors.
21. Providing assistance to rigs for optimized move route from well to well and assistance on their new remote camp sites locations.
22. Coordination with mechanical / piping and rotating equipment supervisors to ensure correct location of all foundations. 
23. Attending weekly meetings with drilling, RMT for potential schedule changes and progress on well pad locations and flow lines. 
24. Meetings with Facilities Team Lead on projects progress and well locations KPIs.
25. Planning and Ensuring day to day on going work activities meets as per programme and schedules.
26. Paying daily site visits and making sure work quality as per company standard, specification and site requirement.
27. Resolving site based construction related issues on site and providing technical support to site crews to expedite job.
28. Making sure all the job done within time frame and budget as per issued Work Instructions.
29. Actively participating in cost savings and business efficiency improvements.
30. Providing economical suggestions and solution to team in town for construction related issues and jobs.
31. Giving inputs on contracts updating, involvement in bidder’s site visit and explain scope and area details. 
32. Coordination with local community on their concerns and liaising with responsible department for solutions.
33. Maintaining record for all projects/jobs from initial stage until its completion.
34. Final inspection of jobs after completion to take over.
35. Verifying all work related (PTW) permits in ISSOW system. Reviewing and ensuring all risk assessments are in place as per site condition and requirements and compliance with PTW procedures.
36. Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA), constructability studies and other field construction related studies.
37. Weekly meetings with HSE department, attending/conducting weekly gate meetings with contractors.
38. Conducting audits on site for ongoing jobs, identify potential risks and conducting tool box talks to ensure compliance of HSE goals.
39. Attending online HSE training assignments and awareness courses by using company learning management system.
40. Participating in company EP2 (Behavioral-Based safety programme, better mouse trap and SWA (stop work authority) programme. Which helps in improving unsafe behaviors and reinforce positive.

OMAN GULF COMPANY

Worked as S Highway Constructions, Quality Control, Design for High ways (4 Lane), Rural roads, and Link roads. Concrete Design, Asphalt pavements, Earthworks, Excavations, Bridges, Flyovers, Kerb Stones, Interlocking and for Sewerage and storm water supervision as well as with oil companies to prepare earthworks for Rig drilling. As a Project in charge manage a fleet of heavy earth movers, Plant and machineries, kept vigil on their maximum utilization on comply the necessary quality control, raising timely RA bills, raising claims and attend arbitration proceedings, follow up with consultants and client, highlighting and helping in preparation of variation orders and another day to day execution of all component of worksite execution, Planning, for the site works according to work programmed and then give the details of various materials requirements in advance to Procurement. Dealing with local peoples for their problems and discuss with Local Authorities to bring the solutions at the earliest.

Deployment and job assignment of team members i.e. Site Engineers, Material Engineer, Land Surveyors and Foremen arranging day to day and weekly program and progress meetings to expedite the site problems. Coordinate with consultants to sought out the problems at the earliest. Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly progress reports and different type of activities for Head Office. Preparation of weekly/Monthly production reports for Head office. Preparation of Target plan Vs Production Achieved reports showing the reasons for short-fall for General Manager/ Construction Manager. Attending weekly and monthly meetings with consultants. Reviewing Monthly Payment Certificates and follow up with consultants and client.

                        Worked in oil field for the preparation of different type of Drilling rigs Pads, excavations for pits, checking for the new well locations as per provided coordinates and well pad preparation estimated cost. In case of any obstruction, preparing the proposals for the best and suitable location as per site condition. As well as civil works for making foundations for different type of plants as per client requirement. Pipelines for water injection pumps, oil wells. Preparations and maintenance for Helipads. Coordination with construction department of client and attending daily meetings with client. Checking the monthly and weekly work quantities and Internal Payment Certificates.
