Dear Hiring Manager,

I am a Computer Engineering and Computer Science student at the American University of Sharjah who is currently in search of an internship opportunity to expand my software and/or hardware knowledge.

My strong work ethic and dedication are apparent in my current GPA of 3.64 /4.00 and Chancellor's list placement which were achieved in one of UAE's top universities. In addition, my ever-growing interest in the tech field has motivated me to further my degree by registering for a minor in Computer Science.

I firmly believe in the importance of education as well as character development, and that is reflected in the awards that I have received and the leadership positions that I have been offered throughout my educational journey. In 2019, I graduated from high school with the DUX award as a result of achieving the highest GPA across the school. Together with my social and leadership skills, I was additionally offered a role in the School Representative Council and Sports Team Leadership. Moreover, I have received multiple recommendation letters from recent internship positions and part time jobs related to my field.

The intensive course projects that I have completed at university greatly contributed to developing my knowledge in key Computer Engineering areas. In some of my projects, I was tasked to design an amplifier circuit from basic components, manipulate microcontrollers, and design digital systems. In other projects, I was assigned the responsibility to store information using multiple data structures and optimized algorithms, use R-Pi to interface a vending machine, and code a program for a hypothetical company. This is an example of how my education was able to balance my knowledge in both hardware and software.

Due to my comprehensive knowledge in Computer Engineering and Science, I believe that I am well prepared and qualified to delve deeper into my career options and work hand in hand with an institute that recognizes and appreciates dedication and commitment.
