About Us:

Tita Yara is an exciting new Middle Eastern & Mediterranean fusion restaurant in Sharjah.

We pride ourselves on blending the rich flavors of Levantine & European cuisine with innovative culinary techniques to create a unique dining experience.

We are on the lookout for an experienced Sous Chef to join our team and contribute to the pre-opening phase and ongoing success of our establishment.


As the Sous Chef at Tita Yara, you will play a critical role in shaping the culinary direction of our restaurant.

Your main responsibilities will include ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation, and managing kitchen operations.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the development and execution of an innovative menu that reflects the fusion of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisines.
  • Ensure consistent preparation and presentation of dishes according to our recipes and standards.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and restocking, maintaining highquality product standards.
  • Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards within the kitchen environment.
  • Monitor food cost, usage, and waste control to maintain budget and quality standards.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment through regular inspection and adherence to maintenance programs.
  • Lead and inspire the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef preferably with expertise in Levantine cuisine.
  • Demonstrated ability in kitchen management and menu development.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in a highpressure, fastpaced environment.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for culinary excellence.
