Job Brief:

Join our Valued Clientin a dynamic team as a Cost Controller in the Food and Beverage (F&B) industry. This role is critical for maintaining financial control and optimizing costs within our F&B operations. We are seeking an immediate starter who can contribute to the financial success of our establishments.


Job Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Cost Analysis: Conduct regular analyses of food and beverage costs, identifying areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.
  • Budgeting: Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets for F&B operations, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
  • Inventory Management: Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures, including regular stock counts and reconciliation.
  • Supplier Negotiation: Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms, discounts, and competitive pricing for food and beverage items.
  • Menu Costing: Calculate and update menu item costs based on ingredient prices and portion sizes to ensure accurate pricing.
  • Variance Reporting: Monitor and analyze variances between actual and budgeted costs, providing detailed reports to management.
  • Waste Control: Implement measures to minimize waste and spoilage, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Develop and enforce SOPs related to cost control, ensuring consistency across all F&B outlets.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate accurate and timely financial reports related to F&B costs, providing insights to support decisionmaking.

Job Requirements:


  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cost Controller in the Food and Beverage industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Immediate Starter: Available to start immediately.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with attention to detail in cost calculations and analysis.
  • Industry Knowledge: Indepth understanding of F&B industry operations, cost structures, and inventory management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers, management, and team members.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant accounting and inventory management software.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and maintain cost control strategies in dynamic environments.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about relevant regulations and ensure compliance with financial and accounting standards.

Compensation:


  • Salary: AED , based on experience.
  • Additional Benefits: As per company policy.
