    Description
    • Work cross functionally withbusiness partners, physicians and clinical SME's toguarantee the optimal supply chainprocesses.
    • Drives forecasting, demand andinventory planning in coordination with operatingunits
    • Devise and employ fruitful sourcingstrategies abiding by NMC procurement policy andDOA.
    • Execute and manage the Bio Medical& IT tendering, RFP/Q and evaluationprocess
    • Manage contracts from negotiation toexecution to ensure that contract terms and conditions aremaintained throughout the life of thecontract
    • Coordinate with vendors and serviceproviders to achieve the optimal utilization of NMC financialresources.
    • Examine and reevaluate existingcontracts
    • Meet with departments throughout NMCon contract negotiations and cost savingsopportunities
    • Identify and examine newtechnologies in the market and takes the lead in evaluating thesewith the clinical SME's.
    • Controlspend and build a culture of long term saving on procurementcost.
    • Manage and foresee unfavorable supplyrelated events through analysis of data and developing mitigationplans.
    • Receive Purchase requisition, verifiesprices and delivery dates, issue purchase orders and monitor timelydelivery.
    • Ensures that all purchaserequisitions, purchase orders and contracts are authorizedappropriately based on the NMC's Delegation of Authority(DOA).
    • Liaise with various governmentregulatory bodies for the highly regulated nature of clinicalsupplies.
    • Manage business relationships andresolves all matters between the organization and vendors /suppliers (solving supplier's disputes, claims, invoicesand any other type ofdiscrepancies).
    • Co-ordinate with the technicalspecialist or manufacturers for training and evaluation purpose forSME
    • Manage business relationships and resolvesall matters between the organization and vendors /suppliers
    • Co-ordinate with NMC'Sclinical engineering / IT department and vendors for installationand commissioning of Medical & ITequipment.
    • Act as an escalation point on vendordisputes and performance management issues between the group IT andNMC unit IT teams
    • Performs other duties asassigned.

    Education andCertification:

    • Bachelor's Degree -Business Administration or related fields. Master'sdegree will be an advantage.

    Experience:

    • 5-10 years of experience working in asimilar role, Healthcare experience in UAE will be anadvantage.
