Civil Procurement Engineer - Fujairah, United Arab Emirates - Fujairah National Group

Description

· Review BOQ, budget,specifications, and drawings for any new awarded tender to producea procurement list.

· Set up andmaintain a controlled framework to ensure that all procurementactivities are effectively managed and are in accordance with theContract Standing Orders, Procurement and FinancialRegulations.

· Develop and reviewProcurement Strategy covering each of the key businessareas.

· Constantly implement SAPapplications and ensure no procurementbacklogs.

· Set up a process of reviewfor all Contracts, Supplies and Suppliers ensuring that maximumvalue for money benefits are achieved through supplierrationalization, developing an approved Supplierlist.

· Build and develop goodrelationships with key suppliers to ensure best value for money andclient satisfaction.

· Ensure that allareas of concern are identified and addressed as early as possible,with remedial action taken.

· Monitortrends in supplier and contract base and propose/implement plans torespond to such trends.

· Identifyingand building a database of all the products and suppliers withinthe relevant industry.

· Regularlyfollowing up with the internal and external teams for all thepurchases.

· Maintaining an Inventory(stock) level for the company
