- Maximize sales and profitabilityof brand stores in line with Companytargets.
- Develop the brand launch strategy inconsultation with the Brand GeneralManager.
- Control costs within budgetaryguidelines for the brand stores.
- Maximizeproductivity in stores through effective deployment of resources atbrand stores to ensure complete sell through as per brand product,style and assortment plans.
- Review feedbackfrom territories on Brand acceptance and customerexpectations.
- Ensure adherence to financialplan in all key areas
- sales, markdowns, marginand average inventory.
- Create the brandpositioning in consultation with the Marketing team and BrandPrincipal / Brand General Manager.
- Involve inrecruitment and training of team members. Brand MerchandisePlanning and Product Selection
- Studymerchandise requirements for assigned brand by setting sourcingtriggers based on actual sales, sales forecasts, company orderparameters, inventory checks, forth coming events, replenishmentneeds.
- Design the merchandise plan (pricing,promotion, assortment etc.) with the team for timely availabilityof stocks at the stores.
- Determine buyingrequirements and formulate buying plan andbudget.
- Conduct product selection incoordination with the buying requirements and the product researchreceived.
- Ensure effective in-season managementacross territories (stock balancing, markdown management, stockanalysis, stock vs. sales performance). BrandImage
- Create brand awareness "ClubApparel".
- Coordinate with RetailOperations to collate the feedback on retail and brandoperations.
- Develop Strategy for VisualMerchandising at Stores and ensure implementation of the same.Market and Competition Research
- Acquire marketintelligence through various sources and analyze trends that mayimpact business.
- Research the brand acceptancewithin the region or any new territory and identify any inputs onbrand customizations required.
- Map competitionprices / products and provide qualitative inputs tobusiness.
- Research and look at new sites forbrand outlets and discuss the same with the Operations Manager andGeneral Manager.
- Research on the latest trendsin products, brands, styles, designs, fits etc. Projects &Administration
- Evaluate the selected site onparameters like trade area, customer base, additional merchandisingconsiderations and seek internalapprovals.
- Co-ordinate for new store openingsand re-fits with the operations and projectsteam.
- Ensure brand outlet locations are in linewith the brand strategy and positioning.
- Ensureadherence to the store openingplan.
