• Reads and interprets blueprints,layout plans, vendor installation and operation manuals, and otherschematic drawings to determine workprocedures.
• Dismantles machines using hammers,wrenches, crowbars and other hand tools.
• Movesmachinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers andtrucks.
• Assembles and installs equipment, suchas shaffing, conveyors and tram rails, using cranes, hand tools andpower tools.
• Constructs foundation for machinesusing hand tools and building materials, such as wood, cement andsteel.
• Aligns machines and equipment usinghoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers and plumbbobs.
• Must have knowledge of optical and laseralignments.
• Assembles machines and bolts,welds, rivets or otherwise fastens them to foundation or otherstructures using hand tools and powertools.
• May operate engine lathe to grind, fileand turn machine parts to dimensionalspecifications.
• May install robot and modifyits program using teach pendant.
• May usetransit and level for equipment setting.
• Loads,transports and unloads materials, tools, equipment andsupplies.
• Performs lubricating maintenance,cleaning activities, or repair of tools, machines, andequipment.
• Responsible for observing andcomplying with all safety and project rules. Performs other dutiesas required
