Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Compliance and Operations Officer to join our team.

  • You will be responsible for managing the departmental framework, facilitating effective communication and coordination between departments, conducting departmental analytics, utilizing technology tools, and generating departmental reports.

HEALTHCARE OPERATIONS EXPERIENCE IS HIGHLY PREFERRED.

Responsibilities:


Compliance Management:


  • Stay current with local, national, and international laws and regulations relevant to our industry.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory authorities.

Policy and Procedure:


  • Expertise in preparing policy framework and developing procedures for smooth functioning of various departments in a healthcare setup

Operational Efficiency:


  • Analyze current operational processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement streamlined workflows to enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Monitor operational performance and make recommendations for enhancements.
  • Maintain and update operational documentation.

Risk Management:


  • Identify potential operational and compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Implement risk management procedures and practices to safeguard the organization.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on risk management best practices.

Departmental Framework:


  • Develop and maintain an efficient and effective departmental framework to ensure smooth operations across the organization.

Reporting and Documentation:


  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive compliance and operational reports.
  • Keep accurate records of compliance and operational activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports for management and regulatory agencies.

Communication and Collaboration:


  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with compliance and operational objectives.
  • Communicate with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and auditors.
  • Foster a culture of compliance and operational excellence throughout the organization.

Coordination between Departments:


  • Serve as a central point of contact for all departments, fostering collaboration, and facilitating seamless communication and coordination between teams.

Departmental Analytics:


  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data related to departmental performance, identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Utilize analytics tools and techniques to provide insights and recommendations.

Technological Savviness:


  • Stay up to date with the latest technological advancements and implement relevant tools, software, and systems to enhance operational efficiency and streamline processes.

Departmental Reports:


  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive departmental reports, including performance metrics, key findings, and recommendations. Present reports to stakeholders, management, and other relevant parties.

Team Follow-up:


  • Ensure effective followup with all teams involved in departmental activities, tracking progress, resolving issues, and providing necessary support to achieve goals and targets.

Process Improvement:


  • Continuously evaluate existing operational processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Hospital Management, Operations Management, or a related field/MBA.
  • Proven experience as a Compliance or Operations Officer in a similar role for 35 years.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using technology tools, AI, software, and analytics platforms, MS-Office.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of departmental operations, workflow management, and process optimization.
  • Strong proficiency in generating reports, conducting presentations, and delivering insights to the Operations Supervisor.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Independent thinker
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is a plus.
  • Strong and assertive personality with decision making skills.
  • Professional certifications in operations management or related fields are advantageous.
  • Experience in handling operations in a healthcare background hospitals or clinics is required
