To develop the designs and engineering drawings of jobs by incorporating the contract specifications, client requirements and government regulations without compromising the constructability of these designs. To ensure the use of creative solutions in the design of jobs that reduce manpower requirements, cost and time. Responsible for the training and development of subordinates.

• Researches the market for advanced construction technologies and creative solutions that would improve structural design.
• Utilizes programs and designs to improve speed and efficiency of design duties.
• Establishes Amana image as a leading design and built contractor in all industrial domain.
• Ensures the design compatibility with authorities' rules and regulations.
• Performs structural design and analysis.
• For Design/Build contracts, coordinates the activities of the consultant, client, and Amana in order to develop the compliant design as per the client requirements and obtain the approval of the authorities in the shortest possible time frame and within the Job estimate developed by the Estimation function.
• Interfaces with clients, consultants, and authorities to ensure the quick approval of drawings compliant with the job contract and requirements.
• Checks and approves for the compatibility of the architectural, civil, MEP, and steel/cladding drawings and designs (both in-house and third party) and ensures the resolving of any incompatibilities in coordination with the relevant parties.
• Ensures the timely delivery of updated "Issued for Construction" drawings defined by the drawing log set by Engineering Manager.
• Reviews the steel design / drawings received from steel manufacturing company in co‑ordination with Sr. Steel Designer in order to develop the concrete design and cover the interface areas properly.
• Manages daily interactions with authorities to ensure the quick and delay‑free issuance of all required permits.
• Prepares drawing submittal log in line with the overall project schedule in coordination with the Planning function.
• Provides As Built Drawings for jobs on a timely basis and as per the requirements of the Construction department.
• Performs site visits as needed to compare designs with actual site practices as well as to improve knowledge of practical building practices. Assists Cost Control function, as needed, in variation orders and reports the same to manager.
• Develops and maintains a library of standard constructible details of least cost implications.
• Assists the Engineering Manager in the completion of the Engineering section structural Works of the End of Job Report.
• Supports Tendering department by providing technical design and advice to minimize the cost to help securing projects.
• Assists in the training and development of personnel in the Engineering function.
• Responsible for the training and development of subordinates. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; Master's Degree in Structural Engineering (preferred)
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit (Revit Certification is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP, SAFE, PROKON, and Concise Beam
• Solid experience in concrete structural design, with familiarity in both precast and steel structures
• Ability to design G+4 concrete buildings
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and capable of working under pressure
• Strong time management skills with a focus on speed and accuracy
