Job Title: Steward

A Steward plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional Guest and Member experience by maintaining the cleanliness of back-of-house areas, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and ensuring the proper functioning of pot-washing machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Pot-Washing Machinery: Maintain a hygienic working environment in accordance with hygiene regulations and company standards.
• General Cleaning Duties: Perform tasks such as sweeping, mopping, washing up, and emptying rubbish bins and boxes, ensuring correct placement in containers.
• Kitchen and Back-of-House Area Maintenance: Ensure all areas are kept clean, and equipment is cleaned in accordance with the cleaning schedule.
• Health and Safety: Observe Health, Hygiene, and Safety guidelines when handling hazardous substances and comply with all aspects of Health and Safety requirements.
• Maintenance and Hazard Reporting: Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the supervisor on duty.
• Additional Tasks: Carry out any other reasonable task set by the Hotel's Management.

Requirements:

• Good Communication Skills: Effective communication with Guests and Team Members.
• Teamwork: Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
