POSITION

The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

***Employee Relations:

  • Maintain a full knowledge of employment law & HR best practice ensuring a luxury level of HR service is provided to the business. A true ambassador for LVMH's core belief and values.
  • Provide professional HR advice and support to employees and key stakeholders on a range of HR & ER topics.
  • Lead in all levels of disciplinary, grievance, capability processes for the region, including the coaching of line managers and associated documentation. Escalating where necessary any highrisk employee relations issues to the Head of HR.
  • Participate in Performance & Career Review process and Individual Compensation Review process.
  • Continuously review the market to have up to date market knowledge to ensure compensation and benefits package for each Maison remains competitive.
  • Supporting line managers with performance management process to drive productivity for all colleagues.

Administration:

  • Responsible to ensure monthly & annual LVMH HR reports are submitted in an accurate & timely manner.
  • Responsible to ensure creation of employee profiles within LVMH talent system and manage necessary updates throughout employee lifecycle ensuring all HR data is accurate.
  • Ensuring reference checks are completed for new joiners & exit interviews for leavers.
  • Manage monthly commission & incentive review & input to payroll.
  • Maintain the organisational charts to ensure accurate and uptodate information as per people budgets.
  • Ad hoc administrative requests when required.
Preparation of regular reports as requested to support continuous improvement in the monitoring of:
absence, performance management, headcount evolution, salary comparisons etc.


Talent:

  • Support in recruitment routine activities (CV filing, CV data base administration, interviews booking).
  • Support the onboarding & induction plans for new joiners to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Anticipate future talent needs across the network and build own fashion and luxury network.

Business Partner & Projects:

  • Be actively involved in driving projects to continuously improve the HR function across fashion group brands: Talent, Employee Engagement & Development, HR Analytics etc.
  • Work closely with various Departments, offering a consultancy service to assist managers in the deployment of HR Policies and Procedures.
  • Support with events, i.e. Corporate Social Responsibility and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, employee engagement activities.
  • Supporting the HR team in ensuring that Diversity and Inclusion practices are adhered to and are forefront of all HR processes.

PROFILE

Profile:


  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or equivalent with a passion for HR/Recruitment. Ideally CIPD qualified.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working within HR function, within luxury retail industry is a plus. Or an interest to learn more about the luxury retail industry. Ability to provide a luxury level of HR/recruitment service to all stakeholders.
  • GCC market experience, strong understanding of the needs and nuances of the regional market.
  • Fluent English language is a must, Arabic or additional languages is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and manage relationships with numerous complex stakeholders.
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office, including advanced Excel).
  • Warm & engaging personality with a positive and proactive mindset, strong ability to multitask and to work at a fast pace while maintaining excellent quality and attention to detail.
  • Emotional intelligence, with mental and professional agility to be able to move between brands and HR issues seamlessly clarifying priorities in an everchanging environment.
