Job Purpose:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and oversee the MEP contracting services operations, ensuring that all work is delivered on time, to a high quality, and within budget.
  • Plan and schedule MEP projects, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and that project deadlines are met.
  • Manage and supervise the MEP team, providing direction, guidance, and support, and ensuring that staff are meeting performance standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of MEP projects to the Managing Partner/ CEO, ensuring that they are delivered to the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficient and effective MEP contracting services operations.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance and budgets for the MEP contracting services.

Requirements:


  • At least 7 years of experience in MEP contracting services, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience working in the
    UAE is a must, preferably in Abu Dhabi.
  • Strong technical knowledge of MEP contracting services, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and team oversight skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Good knowledge of MEP design principles and regulations.
  • Good knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Experience with MEP software tools and systems.
  • Working knowledge of ERP and project management tools.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
