Responsibilities:
-
General Accounting:


  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the general ledger.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

Accounts Receivable:


  • Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing and billing.
  • Monitor and track customer payments, ensuring timely and accurate collections.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Generate and analyse accounts receivable reports to assess the financial health of the organization.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment issues.

Credit Management:


  • Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
  • Monitor and manage the aging of accounts receivable.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to address paymentrelated inquiries.

Financial Reporting:


  • Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable aging and key performance indicators.
  • Provide financial information to support decisionmaking processes within the organization.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support external audits.

System and Process Improvement:


  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in accounting and accounts receivable functions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new accounting systems or enhancements to existing systems.

Compliance:


  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to accounting and accounts receivable.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in general accounting and accounts receivable roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Salary:
AED5, AED8,000.00 per month
