    Description

    IT Procurement & Fixed Asset Officer

    A key role within Sharjah Islamic Bank, this position is responsible for handling the bank's purchasing activities on a daily basis.

    Mainly focusing on IT procurement and managing the bank's fixed-asset records, which relate to the bank's requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Handling full procurement process, including IT and non-IT workflows, deliveries follow-up, and payment settlement.
    • Receiving purchase requests, identifying and exploring requested items.
    • Arrange and invite vendors for summarization of quotations.
    • Ensure timely receipt of quotations in accordance with standard procedures.
    • Manage the ITD tendering process according to bank SOPs.
    • Prepare commercial evaluations and comparisons.
    • Verify that received items meet specifications and standards.
    • Process necessary documents from vendors (invoice and delivery note) after ensuring goods are received as per bank standards.
    • Manage FA asset management processes, covering procurement, tagging, asset transfer, monitoring, and disposal in line with bank policy and procedure.
    • Conduct monthly depreciation processes, adding assets, transferring, and disposing as per FCD requests with maker/checker process.
    • Monitor all FA movements within SIB premises.
    • Issue LPOs after obtaining required approvals and forward them to approved vendors.
    • Send necessary payment documents to FCD and follow up on vendor payment settlement.
    • Knowledgeable in administration management systems.
    • Reconcile SIB FA physical verification with SIB inventory reports according to SIB policy and procedure.
    • Support the ITD department for administrative projects.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree Holder
    • Preferably with certification in Procurement and Purchasing and Asset Management courses or equivalent training.
    • Must have knowledge of IT hardware and software specifications.
    • Computer/Systems/Software Skills: MS Office - IT Software – Intermediate.
    • Experience: 7-10 Years.

    Language:

    • Strong in both oral and written: English (Arabic is an advantage).
