    Description
    1. Diagnostic Imaging

    Interpret and report imaging studies such as:
    X-rays
    Ultrasound scans
    CT (Computed Tomography) scans
    MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
    Mammography
    Identify abnormalities, injuries, tumors, infections, and congenital conditions.
    Provide accurate and timely radiology reports for clinical decision-making.

    • Interventional Radiology (if trained)

    Perform image-guided minimally invasive procedures such as:
    Biopsies
    Drainage procedures
    Angiography and angioplasty
    Tumor ablation
    Use imaging guidance to ensure procedural safety and precision.

    • Patient Safety & Quality Control
    Ensure radiation safety and follow ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles.
    Monitor contrast media usage and manage allergic reactions.
    Ensure proper imaging protocols and equipment calibration.

    • Clinical Collaboration
    Discuss findings with referring physicians and surgeons.
    Provide imaging recommendations and second opinions.
    Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings (tumor boards, case discussions).

    • Equipment & Technology Management
    Supervise radiographers/technicians during imaging procedures.
    Ensure optimal functioning and maintenance of imaging equipment.
    Update imaging protocols based on current guidelines.

    • Documentation & Reporting
    Maintain accurate and detailed radiology reports.
    Use PACS and RIS systems for image storage and reporting.
    Maintain patient confidentiality and medico‑legal compliance.

    • Teaching & Research (if applicable)
    Train junior doctors, radiology residents, and technicians.
    Participate in clinical research and audits.
    Attend CMEs and keep updated with advances in imaging technology.

    • Emergency & On-Call Duties
    Provide emergency radiology services for trauma and critical care cases.
    Support ICU and emergency department imaging needs.

    Qualification:
    MS/MD

    Experience:
    Post MD/ MS 3 years of experience

    Salary Package:
    INR to INR per month
