Description

• Assist with the planning,coordination, implementation, monitoring and evaluation ofprojects
• Work closely with the Sr. ProjectManagement Officer in defining the project scope and in thedevelopment of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to facilitateeffective administration of projects
• Assistwith the preparation of the Project Initiation Document (PID) tooutline the purpose and requirements of theproject
• Assist with the preparation of theProject Implementation Plan (PIP) and other key documents tosupport the project
• Assist with the creation ofthe Annual Work Plans (AWPs) and schedules for the project and itscomponents
• Assist with the development of theoverall budget for the project as well as for project components,and conduct budget reviews and analyses in conjunction with the Sr.Project Management Officer
• Act as the point ofcontact for all members of the project team ensuring effective flowof communication from inception to completion of theprojects
• Track project progress against the setgoals and timelines, monitoring budget and expenditures, analysingrisks, managing resources, and providing regular project updates toall team members
• Assist in the preparation ofproject expenditure updates and other financialreports
• Prepare regular reports to track theprogress of project components including status of milestones anddeliverables to ensure schedules and deadlines are beingmet
• Identify project issues and possiblesolutions, and bring them to the attention of the senior teammembers
• Assist in ongoing risk assessment andmitigation actions across allprojects
• Undertake other assignments from timeto time, depending on the needs of the project
  

Experience &Education Qualifications:

• Bachelor'sdegree in Business Administration orequivalent
• Project Management Professional(PMP) Certification
• 3-4 years'experience in providing support to medium to large scaleprojects
