Recruiting on behalf of our client who are going through a rapid department expansion and now in need of a
CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST (Child & Adolescent) to be based in a premium busy location in DUBAI, UAE, working with a well established market leading specialist Mental Health Clinic providing a wide range of out-patient services.


Innovation Group UAE (Medical & Healthcare) are a market leading (Permanent) Staffing Services provider dedicated to sourcing high calibre talent such as Doctors, Nurses, Midwives, Dentists and all Allied Health Professionals to the Medical & Healthcare sector for over 30 yrs.

With Dubai based HQ and with 16 offices globally.


Role:
Clinical Psychologist (Child & Adolescent).


Location:
Dubai, UAE.


Hours: 5 days per week, 40 hrs, flexible to suit.


Salary & Benefits:
On Target Earnings of AED 45,000.

With Introductory Fixed basic salary and reverting to 50% revenue share when you have a fully established caseload of 30 Clinical Hours per week.

Professional license costs covered, Private Medical Insurance, Relocation assistance + Studio accommodation paid for 1 month (if relocating Internationally).


Summary:
Assess, diagnose and treat individuals suffering from psychological distress and mental illness. Perform psychotherapy and develop treatment plans. Provide psychological treatment (psychotherapy). Administer and interpret psychological assessment and testing. Conduct psychological research. Teaching. Developing prevention programs. Consulting (within schools and businesses). Program administration within a busy clinic. Expected to see at least 5 patients per day for 1 hour sessions.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • MUST have at least 5 yrs relevant experience.
  • MUST hold PHD or Psy-D.
  • MUST have experience in Psychodynamics.
  • MUST hold DHA or CDA license or eligibility.
  • MUST have excellent communication and English language skills.
  • IDEALLY already locally based in UAE with residency Visa.
  • Will be considered for International relocation.

Primary Responsibility:


  • Attendance at regular meetings such as team/service clinical and business meetings.
  • Providing appropriate therapy based on the individual needs.
  • Leading group therapy of different age groups and levels of functioning.
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside, Psychiatrists, family therapist, Social Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurse, Developmental Pediatricians, and Teachers.
  • Working with outside organisations to provide recommendations and advice regarding individual needs based on the outcome of the assessments.
  • Providing consultation to other professions
  • Supervising support staff assisting in psychological assessment and intervention.
  • Participate in research activities.
  • Attending educational events such as conferences, and training seminars as required.
  • Nonclinical support activity such as running a reflective practice group for other staff, supervising other members of the team if required.
  • Additional responsibilities activities and roles related to professional supervision and line management, service delivery, governance and service development, Clinical Audit where this is formally agreed with managers.
  • Carrying out responsibilities with the highest professional ethical standards and sensitivity to cultural differences.
