    Responsibilities

    • Develop expertise on the business model and be able to support the local management with decisions related to finance
    • Preparation and presentation of the monthly results for the region's subsidiaries, including analysis and commentary of fluctuations period of period and against budget
    • Collaborate with other entity controllers as well as the wider finance and accounting team to standardise the local processes and reporting, integrating newly-acquired entities into the core Ebury methodologies
    • Perform and/or review accounting bookings as needed
    • Evaluate and analyse local GAAP to IFRS differences
    • Manage regulatory, financial, and fiscal reporting reportings in the entities in the region
    • Manage all subsidiary audits for the entities in the region
    • Support the EPL group audit, providing all information as requested
    • Oversight of local finance staff
    • Assist with local fiscal and regulatory requirements as needed
    • Support FP&A management reporting, KPIs, financial planning, and budgeting
    • Other ad hoc analysis and group reporting requirements

    Required Experience

    • Finance professional with at least 5+ years of relevant experience
    • IFRS expertise required
    • Flexibility to adapt schedule to overlap with other time zones for meetings and coordination as needed
    • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines, work to tight schedules and provide a fast and efficient turnaround of tasks and problem resolutions
    • Be an analytical thinker who can focus on detail with a pragmatic outlook, able to lead debate and drive change whilst bearing in mind strategic requirements
    • High adaptability - ability to cope with product, system and role and responsibility change in a rapidly growing company
