Description

Operate assigned plant efficiently and safelyby providing chilled water to customers at required contracttemperature, and monitoring plant equipmentparameters

Factoryoperations

· Handle the operation ofthe assigned plant to ensure customers are continuously suppliedwith chilled water at the requiredtemperature

· Monitor and controlfactory operations, and report to the direct supervisor any defectsin equipment, or in the event of customercomplaints

Operatingprocedures

· Follow all factoryoperating procedures to fully support continuity ofoperations.

Factoryreports

· Preparing daily watertreatment reports, and calibrating pH and electrical conductivitymeasuring devices on a weekly basis

·Reporting equipment defects to the direct supervisor and assistinghim in following up on the defect repairprocess

· Visiting the devices dailyto ensure their safety and normaloperation

Internalmaintenance:

· Carrying out minorinternal maintenance of equipment

§ Follows all relevantpolicies, processes and unit/department procedures so that work isperformed in a controlled and consistentmanner.

§ Ensure that the organizationadheres to legal frameworks in areas such as discipline,complaints, retrenchments, and labor law.
