    Description

    Role x You:

    As our Art Director, you play a pivotal role in translating creative concepts into tangible visual experiences, working harmoniously with copywriters and various members of the creative team. Your expertise will span across diverse marketing channels, including but not limited to advertising, direct mail, email campaigns, websites, landing pages, online ad units, videos, animations, and more. Your core responsibilities include cultivating and preserving the design integrity of our brands across these platforms while ensuring the final deliverables are meticulously prepared for either print or digital implementation.

    You will enhance the team's technical and creative output, employing your sharp design and conceptual skills. Your ability to lead, guide, and inspire will be crucial in elevating the overall performance of your group.

    Responsibilities:

    In the Short Term:

  • Build strong relationships within our internal network, gaining a deep understanding of our clients' brands.
  • Align your creative approach with the expectations of your creative line manager, focusing on both ideation and execution.
  • After 6 Months:

  • Master the Virtue ways of working, confidently navigating the brand tone, client expectations, and creative demands of multiple projects.
  • Lead meetings and projects with poise, effectively implementing feedback from your creative director.
  • After 9 Months:

  • Collaborate proactively with copywriters and creative team members to conceive and execute innovative concepts that satisfy and surpass the creative brief's expectations.
  • Develop and refine design solutions, ensuring alignment with brand standards, project narratives, copy content, and technical specifications.
  • Provide timely support to team members, aiding in the delivery of project deadlines and objectives.
  • Efficiently manage multiple assignments concurrently, maintaining a balance of exceptional quality and timely delivery.
  • Exhibit self-drive, a can-do attitude, and impressive communication skills.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in visual design and software tools, ensuring continuous personal and team growth.
  • Demonstrate cultural and societal awareness, integrating this knowledge into your design work to keep our content relevant and resonant.
  • Qualifications:

  • A solid track record as an Art Director, preferably within a global advertising agency setting.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in additional languages serving as a valuable asset.
  • Exceptional communication skills paired with a discerning eye for design.
  • Proficiency in Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Sound Design for interactive art direction tasks.
  • A demonstrated capacity for leadership and concept development.
  • Proven aptitude for fostering client relationships and advocating for creative excellence over safe solutions.
  • A talent for managing multiple tasks efficiently meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
  • A habitual engagement with inspiring trends and developments in the creative field.
  • A successful history of working with and presenting to clients.
  • Proven ability to guide creative teams, photographers, and other third-party creative partners.
  • A collaborative spirit, able to work seamlessly with various departments across the organization.
