The Housekeeping Manager manages and oversees the housekeeping operations in this ultra-luxury Resort, ensuring that the guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are kept clean and well-maintained, and managing the cleaning supplies and equipment inventory.

The Housekeeping Manager is also responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction throughout the Resort.


Role Responsibilities:


  • Manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas of the Resort are clean, wellmaintained, and up to the standards of the Resort
  • Hire, train, and supervise housekeeping colleagues, including team leaders, housekeepers, Gardeners, Life guards, and public area attendants
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for guest rooms, public areas, and backofhouse spaces
  • Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stocked
  • Work closely with other departments, such as front office and engineering, to ensure seamless communication and cooperation
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction
  • Manage and monitor the departmental budget and expenses
  • Respond promptly to guest complaints and concerns related to housekeeping
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers for housekeepingrelated products and services
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and Resort policies

Key Skills and Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in housekeeping management in a luxury hotel or Resort environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and supplies
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Umm alQuwain City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Housekeeping Manager: 5 years (preferred)
